This design is adapted from the , created by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1923. It is the last, largest, and most complex, of the four textile block houses, having 24 different block forms, battered walls, and art glass windows representing abstractions of wisteria. Crowning a ridge at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, it is one of the most exceptional architectural landmarks in Los Angeles.
