The Cressi Gara Modular Impulse Fins are a perfect choice for deep freedivers and spearfishers of all levels that want comfortable, efficient, maximum performance fins.
The modular design lets the user replace/interchange blades for specific diving purposes, which make the perfect fin to grow with, as the diver can change blades as their skills increase from plastic to fibreglass through to a lightweight carbon fibre. Any standard fibreglass or carbon fibre long blade will interchange in minutes without any modifications to either blade.
The self adjusting foot pocket combines the perfect mix of soft and supple compounds with stiffness in all the right places to ensure maximum comfort whilst delivering maximum performance.
The Gara Modular Impulse fin can be comfortably worn with or without neoprene socks, however the foot socket is slightly wider than other Gara fin models, so you may need to use a neoprene sock or thin booties. For use without neoprene socks, we recommend buying one smaller size.
The 29º angle on the blade provides the highest efficiency during kicks, meaning it takes the least amount of energy to kick that's possible, which allows you to dive for longer without tiring out.
The blade has an incredible resistance to any type of shock, impact or stress, making it almost impossible to accidentally break.
The anti-slip water rails on the side of the blade prevent water flow from escaping sideways to deliver maximum downwards displacement and thrust.
The fins come with a right and left fully recycled, semi-rigid insole which can be cut down to your size and placed inside to increase stiffness and energy transfer. They're recommended for use with thin booties in mild temperature conditions to improve kicking performance and efficiency.
